Blame One has linked up with the San Diego production duo, Harry Apollo and JonJ, to create the raw and gritty Hip Hop group, Big Block Silvers. Harry Apollo serves as the main producer while JonJ brings live instrumentation to Harry’s production, resulting in a lively aesthetic. For their first release, they’ve shared a fresh track from their forthcoming EP, BOLD. Titled “Crime In The City,” it’s an exciting introduction to the project, which will be followed up with remixes from Exile, J57 and People Under The Stairs’ Thes One. After 2 mix tapes and a classic album, producer extraordinaire Exile and mic smith, Johaz drop a song from their upcoming 4th project (Volition) as DAG SAVAGE to kick off their European tour with fellow crew mate Blu.
This song (What Makes a Mutha Fucka) shows what makes Johaz so damn fresh or rather what makes him a force to be reckoned with in Hip Hop. Along with a hard menacing production from Exile and fellow DS CREW mate Cashus King, who supports his crew with a hook and crazy acapella verse at the end.
