BIG BLOCK SILVERS – CRIME IN THE CITY

Blame One has linked up with the San Diego production duo, Harry Apollo and JonJ, to create the raw and gritty Hip Hop group, Big Block Silvers. Harry Apollo serves as the main producer while JonJ brings live instrumentation to Harry’s production, resulting in a lively aesthetic. For their first release, they’ve shared a fresh track from their forthcoming EP, BOLD. Titled “Crime In The City,” it’s an exciting introduction to the project, which will be followed up with remixes from Exile, J57 and People Under The Stairs’ Thes One. BOLD is scheduled for a February 24 release via Exile’s Dirty Science x J57’s FiveSe7en Music. Meet the new group above and pre-order the EP here.

LA Based Emanon aka Exile and Aloe Blacc have been making music together for many years. The 2 began experimenting with Hip Hop when Aloe was only 16 and Exile 17 with no more than a 4 track tape recorder, turntable and a microphone. Building a fan base pre internet selling tapes on the streets all over the CA southland, eventually reaching the world. The 2 have released many underground tapes and vinyl through out the years and ears of many. The 2 have made many classics with each other but more note worthy when the two began to work on there own. Dag Savage – All My People Ft. ADAD & CashUs King Fka CO$$

In the face of the seemingly constant injustice and murder black and brown people have been facing by the hands that are supposed to protect and serve, Dag Savage has enlisted fellow Dirty Science crew mates to speak upon the subject through song. We recruited the Windy City’s own Adad and Leimert Park, Los Angeles’ best kept secret Cashus King(fka Co$$) to help express our sentiments through sound. ‘All my People’ is more than a song, it’s a call to action, our plea for all those who believe in justice and equality to speak up and let their voices be heard. For now enjoy this audio and ask yourself how you can be a part of the solution.

Produced by Exile And Th3ory Hazit
Additional instruments performed by Hank G and Farmer Greif
